INTERMITTENT ALTITUDE TRAINING

Intermittent altitude training uses a special mask to simulate mountain air in alternating phases. This alternating reduction in oxygen (hypoxia) and enrichment (hyperoxia) challenges the organism in a controlled manner and supports important adaptation processes, such as improved oxygen utilization and increased performance.

But it's not just fitness that benefits: Many participants report deep relaxation and better sleep after these sessions. This is due to the interaction with the autonomic nervous system, which can quickly switch into recovery mode after the stimulus of altitude . Furthermore, the production of the "power plants" in the cells, the mitochondria, is stimulated , which promises more energy and endurance in everyday life in the long term.

Our therapists accompany each session, monitor important vital parameters and adapt the duration to individual goals.

Gentle intervals are provided for beginners, while advanced athletes can increase their program accordingly. Intermittent altitude training is thus a versatile method that contributes to regeneration on both a physical and mental level —making it an ideal complement to our comprehensive sleep retreat program.
